The current residency by the National feature of Scotland involves Director Ian Smith and Scottish artists Graeme Gilmour and Ewan Hunter working alongside Sri Lankan lead artist Prasantha and carvers and welders to create scenery and props for Smith project “Bish Bash Bosch.” The project has demonstrated the viability of using Chandrasevana as a viable and economic production base to build and export production to the west. The project benefited from the artistic input of local artists while they and the local economy benefited from well paid work
